EDUCATION
Currently, our education system provides limited opportunities for students in the areas of engineering, building and technology with little prospect of gaining an apprenticeship placement or training needed for the world of work.
Vanquish have created an educational package targeted at students aged from 11 upwards with possible funding available. With the assistance of local businesses, local schools and government departments, we are devising tailor-made education packages suitable for students and young adults alike. These packages will not only provide the opportunities to experience, first hand, the exciting world of motor racing but gain general engineering skills and the chance to experience the architecture and history that Egypt has to offer.
An example of one such educational package has been designed to offer and encourage the students to work as a team to design, construct and produce a fully functional karting race team that will be capable of competing. Pupils will work and train in the purpose built college and workshops with the goal of developing an operational kart. In addition, they will gain experience on how to create a sales and marketing team, learn about company finances, IT skills and much more.
Students will have access to all aspects of the V1 Motorsport Centre with the opportunity to use our extensive state of the art facilities including the GP circuit. Practical and theoretical sessions will be on offer with guest speakers from local and international companies. This can often lead to exciting offers of employment, many in the Middle East, where we are heavily connected with Bahrain and Abu Dhabi, where motorsport is currently being established as a leading sport and leisure activity.
Packages will be provided for all school pupils, state and independent as well as colleges, academies and universities.
The planned university will cater for older students with various courses and degrees in automotive engineering and motorsport technology with the chance to participate within our own race and development teams.
